“Professional Russian”, who performs under the nickname Dmitry Potapoff on the FPSRussia channel, is leading a campaign to raise funds for the development of the FPS Russia mobile game: The Game.
It is assumed that the project will be released on iOS and Android platforms. If you manage to get enough funding, then there will be versions for PC, Mac and Xbox 360. The game is a two-dimensional platformer in the style of “endless run”. At the moment, there are 17 days left until the end of the campaign, and a little more than 17 thousand have been collected from the requested $51,337.
The FPSRussia channel on YouTube publishes a video featuring a fictional hero – “professional Russian” Dmitry Potapov. The guy who started this whole thing is actually named Kyle Lamar Myers and he lives in Georgia. The videos contain scenes in which the hero talks about various types of weapons and demonstrates them in action. The channel has over 3 million subscribers and more than 500 million views.
