Venture capitalist Kai Hed, who owns 70% of Rovio, invested in the Swedish company Goo Technologies.

The latter is currently developing an engine of the same name, theoretically capable of processing high-end three-dimensional graphics directly in the browser without installing third-party plugins.

In other words, if you want to play, go to the site from any (including mobile) device and enjoy the process.

The engine is built on HTML5. Especially for him, Goo created an original WebGL render designed to improve the performance of HTML5 applications, which, as a rule, decently slow down.

The company’s render directly accesses the device’s hardware graphics. Thanks to this, according to the developers, games on it do not slow down. The problem is that not all mobile browsers support WebGL. How Goo will work around this problem is unclear.

Kay Head, who invested an unnamed amount in Goo, is confident that Goo technology will seriously change the interactive graphics industry.

We’ll see. And here you can get acquainted with the technical demos of Goo.
