As part of the BlackBerry Jam 2012 event, RIM introduced the BlackBerry 10 mobile operating system.
The company itself has high hopes for an updated operating system. We are not talking about the final version of BlackBerry 10 yet, but the presented version has already received several interesting features.
The main change is the redesigned Flow interface: the home screen with running applications, program shortcuts and, most importantly, the BlackBerry node, which is a single service that keeps track of all messages from email, calendar, BBM, social networks, etc. The BlackBerry node, dubbed the Hub, will be accessible from any running application.
Another convenient innovation in BlackBerry 10 is the ability to switch between a personal and work account, while applications can be launched simultaneously from both profiles, but you still have to store data and settings separately.
As for the App World updates, as it became known, in addition to applications and games, music, movies and TV shows will now be available in it. In theory, this news should please 80 million of his subscribers.
Anyway, at the moment there are already 105 thousand programs in the app store, downloaded more than 3 billion times since the launch of the service. And after October 10, the store will begin to be replenished with new applications for BlackBerry 10. Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Foursquare applications have already been optimized for the tenth version of BB.
