Sony announced today that the PlayStation Mobile Store will launch on October 3. Users of Japan, USA, Canada, Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Australia will be the first to test it in practice.

A little later, the service will come to other countries.

The launch line of the digital store includes 30 games of various genres. Their prices have been announced so far only for Japan. They range from ¥50 ($0.63) to ¥850 ($10).

Recall that the PlayStation Mobile cross-platform gaming service supports the PS Vita portable console and Android-based devices. 

In addition, Sony has expanded the list of device manufacturers certified for PlayStation Mobile. Now Sharp and Fujitsu have been added to HTC, ASUS and Wikipad. It is also worth paying attention to the PlayStation Mobile Developer Program, whose members can effortlessly distribute their content through the PlayStation Mobile Store on a commercial basis. The release of the PlayStation Mobile SDK is scheduled for November, the license price is $99.
