A third of social network users access Vkontakte from mobile devices.
This was announced yesterday by the founder of the network Pavel Durov in the framework of the round table “Vkontakte Games” at the Flash GAMM Moscow 2012 conference held yesterday.
Durov did not name a specific figure. Considering that the daily audience of the social network is about 35 million people (as of January 2012), it can be assumed that the DAU of Vkontakte from mobile devices is in the range of 11.6 -12 million.
Durov also noted that the usual applications may appear in the mobile version of Vkontakte. What he meant is not entirely clear, but most likely in the near future we will witness the integration of a number of applications with the largest domestic social network.
