According to Digi-Capital, online and mobile games will increase the total volume of the video game market to $ 87 billion and will account for half of the revenue (44 billion). The once successful console gaming sector will decline.
The Asia-Pacific region and Europe will share 90% of the profits from online and mobile games (China – 49%, Europe – 17%, Japan – 14%, South Korea – 11% in 2014). North American countries, however, remain an important part of the market.
