The end of the year is one of the most profitable and productive periods for the mobile application market. This is well known to everyone. The question is, how profitable did it turn out to be on this December 25th?

Distimo claims that last Christmas the number of worldwide iOS downloads increased by 87%, compared to the average for December 2012. Revenues have also increased markedly – by 70%. As for individual iPad indicators, they grew by an even more impressive 140% and 83%, respectively.

The marketing company also published a list of the most successful applications by the number of downloads. He’s a little lower.
