Using mobile apps to make users feel even more involved in a particular brand is now a very popular strategy among MMO developers.
Gravity Interactive has launched the game Ragnarok Online on iOS. Ragnarok Violet offers the user a single-player campaign experience, a lot of features and mechanics that Ragnarok Online players are used to have been transferred to the game.
The description of the game on the App Store reads: “Using the unique and fun features that we are used to in Ragnarok Online – an improved animal system, cute costumes and, of course, exploring the vast world of Ragnarok Violet promises not only familiar, but also completely new, fresh impressions and a lot of positive emotions.”
Ragnarok Violet is now available for free on the App Store. The MMO trend continues with games such as NCsoft’s Aion and SOE’s EverQuest II.
