Marmalade SDK 6.3 adds support for Android smartphones running on Intel chipsets, Roku streaming players, plus Windows Phone 8 and Blackberry 10 platforms are coming out of beta.

LONDON, UK and SUNNYVALE, CALIFORNIA, USA – May XX, 2013: Marmalade is a cross–platform tool that allows developers to create high-quality products, announced today the release of the latest version of the famous SDK, which has been supplemented with a number of new features. Marmalade SDK 6.3 adds support for Android based on the Intel platform, including the Z2580 translation processor from Intel® Atom™, which allows you to implement high-quality games and applications on a series of new devices, including Lenovo K900. Marmalade 6.3 also offers another platform for implementation – the extremely popular Roku streaming player, with support for Roku 2 devices. Millions of Roku devices are already installed in the homes of US residents, and with Marmalade, it will be easier than ever for developers to reach an ever-increasing audience.

In addition to the new platforms, the first version of the Marmalade support package has been released for BlackBerry 10 and Windows Phone 8 devices, with access to all major APIs. Marmalade has already participated in the development of top games for BlackBerry and Windows Phone 8 in the beta phase, such as Propel Man from Spiel Games and 6 three of the most popular CPU architectures in the world: Intel, ARM and MIPS.
