The Japanese giant GREE plans to release several mobile applications based on popular console and PC games. Including under such brands as Lineage, Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy.

GREE has recently been aggressively expanding into the markets of Europe and North America. But Japan remains the main source of the company’s income. So it’s not surprising that some particularly sweet releases, like hardcore JRPGs based on Bleach and Naruto, don’t make it to the Western market. But we hope that this fate will pass Lineage: Eternal Life from NCsoft, Metal Gear Solid Social Ops from Konami, World Ends with You and Final Fantasy x (not 10, namely x) from Square Enix.

However, there are no facts yet that speak in favor of the fact that they will appear on the American and European markets.

The release of mobile Lineage in the Japanese store is scheduled for next year only. As for the rest of the games, they will appear in Japan before the end of 2012.

By the way, over Metal Gear Solid Social Ops is run by Hideo Kojima himself.
