The popularity of crowdfunding did not come immediately. For a long time, few people knew about the Kickstarter service, and few people believed in it. Everything changed a year ago, when Tim Schafer collected more than $3 million for the development of his new game in a month.

As it turned out later, this is not a record. Developers from Obsidian for the development of the role-playing game Project Eternity asked users for almost $ 4 million, but it happened much later. It was the creator of Monkey Island who gave the green light to the bright future of the service.

So now any potentially strong, but deprived of funding project can collect with a sensible and bright presentation the amount necessary for implementation. The problem is that until recently it was necessary to engage in self-promotion outside of Kickstarter itself. There are probably enough people viewing the portal every day, but what is the share of your audience among them? So I had to “rock the boat” in other ways.

But perhaps this problem has already been partially solved. The fact is that Kickstarter has launched its own iOS application, which has convenient project navigation, its own video player, and, most importantly, the ability to pay for a purchase “without leaving the checkout.”

It looks like this, you open the application, view the feed with the best projects, if you don’t like anything, then go to the category of interest, find something interesting, watch the commercial, read the description and, if you are touched by the project, immediately invest your hard-earned money in it.

As you can see, everything is simple. And although it is still not clear how actively iOS users will download the app, if Kickstarter is successful on the App Store, a new wave of money awaits the service.
