The authors of Kingdoms of Camelot “stay” with Hollywood. Following the creation of a mobile game based on “The Hobbit”, they took up the publication of a game adaptation of the upcoming “Fast and Furious” (well, you know, cars, guns, Vin Diesel).
According to the official announcement, this spring, the American company will release an eponymous f2p game just in time for the release of the sixth part of Fast and Furious on May 26. Its development will be handled by the recently purchased Kabam studio Exploding Barrel Games. The latter, since its foundation in 2010, has managed to register only Margaritaville Online for Facebook.
An important point: most of the Exploding Barrel Games employees come from EA Canada, where they worked on the console versions of Need for Speed. So, most likely, the game based on “Fast and Furious 6” will not be another hardcore strategy, but a real racing arcade.
Recall that the game based on the fifth part of Fast and Furious was made in Gameloft. And, apparently, they were dissatisfied with her work.
