Kabam, a company specializing in hardcore mobile strategies, has announced the acquisition of Exploding Barrel Games, a Canadian studio from Vancouver.

The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. 

The founder and president of Exploding Barrel Games is Scott Blackwood, who worked as an executive producer at Electronic Arts Canada for 15 years, and his current team includes experienced industry veterans. At first, the studio was focused on creating AAA-class console games, but later refocused on social networks, and then on mobile projects. Let’s add that now it will be called Kabam Vancouver.
