Access to the iTunes Music Store is now available to Russian users, and the prices in it are 2 times lower than American ones.
Starting today, Apple has opened access to the iTunes Music Store for Russians. The price in it for one song is 15 rubles (in the American iTunes – $ 0.99) and 99 rubles – for the album.
The music store search is not available yet, and the service is not working properly. According to Vedomosti’s preliminary forecasts, the launch of iTunes was scheduled for the New Year. And it is likely that during this time the iTunes service will be adjusted.
UPDATE: At the moment, work on the Russian version of iTunes is not finished yet. Some users have access to the service, others do not. Apparently, it is currently being tested. In addition, Apple itself has not officially announced its opening.
