Last Friday, sales of the iPhone 5 started in eight countries. Officially, the novelty will be available to Russians in December. But impatient Russian users have been able to purchase it at exorbitant prices since last Friday.

According to RIA Novosti, sales of the “gray” iPhone 5 in Moscow began on Friday evening, then the first price of the iPhone 5 for 64 GB was all 90,000 rubles ($ 2888). For comparison, in the US, devices with 64 GB and 16 GB cost $850 and $650, respectively. Today in Moscow, the cost of the iPhone 5 in the 64 GB version, on average, is already 55,000 rubles ($1,767), the iPhone 5 for 16 GB is 45,000 rubles ($1,444).

While Russian Apple fans are buying up a novelty in the gray market, American users are finding flaws in the iPhone 5. According to the TechCrunch resource, some users have a flickering display, others have distortions when they touch the screen. There have been cases of pixels “falling out”. In addition, at the moment, many complain about the slow speed of Wi-Fi.
