Apple devices continue to dominate the mobile advertising market, with the share of the iPad-mini growing by 20% in March alone.
According to a report by Velti, a mobile advertising company, by the end of March 2013, the iPad accounts for 91.6% of all advertising impressions on tablets, in second place with 6.2% (5.2% in February) iPad-mini. The Kindle Fire closes the top three with 1.6%, which together with Samsung tablets accounts for 73.4% of all mobile advertising on Android.
As for advertising on mobile devices in general, eight out of ten positions are occupied by “Apple” devices, in total they account for 62.2% of impressions.
