Smashing Ideas, a division of Random House, has published a report according to which about half of American smartphone owners spend about 200 hours a year on mobile games.
The data was collected from 1,150 American users. Together, the experts tried to identify the main gaming habits of modern customers. Researchers in particular have found that puzzles and physical puzzles remain the most popular genres. 28% of respondents prefer such products. Casinos and card games are fascinating to 10%, and casual arcade action games are interesting to 7% of users.
According to the study, women play smarftons more often than men: 69% vs. 56%. As expected, 84% of respondents play at home, 22% – on the road, 21% at work. 25% of respondents say that they play on smartphones with their children.
