Last Friday, sales of iPad mini and fourth-generation iPad tablets started in the United States and most of Europe. And by Monday, Apple announced the first results: in three days, the company sold 3 million new devices.
Recall that the iPad mini is currently only available with Wi-Fi. Devices with a universal cellular module will be available to customers on November 15. As for the iPad 4, its users could purchase both with Wi-Fi and Cellular.
3 million is Apple’s new “tablet” record. Six months ago, during the first three days of sales, the New iPad sold “only” 1.5 million copies.
