Newzoo continues to publish infographics dedicated to the gaming markets of different countries. Canada is next in line.

In total, there are 15.9 million gamers in the Country of the Maple Leaf. 52% of them spend money on games. 7.3 million play on smartphones, 3.1 million play on tablets. That’s not a lot. Most gamers prefer consoles (10 million) and social/casual entertainment (13 million).

However, 9 out of 16 xbox players launch some kind of toy on their mobile device at least once a week. 

Moreover, Canada ranks 6th in the world in terms of revenue from iPhone and iPad games, and 9th in terms of revenue from Google Play games.
