The mobile software market is becoming more and more interesting for “capitalists”. Since the beginning of 2013 , investors have invested $262 million in mobile app companies .

This is 59% of all mobile investments over the past year. Six deals took place in June alone. Two of them – with Kony Solutions and with Mobiquity – cost venture capitalists a total of $30 million.

Investors’ attention to the market is largely due to large purchases made within the mobile industry. As an example, the authors of CB Insight cite the acquisition of Parse by Facebook and the takeover of Worklight by the IBM giant.

It is clear that the success of King, Supercell and Kabam also plays a role in raising interest in the market.
