In a year, HTML5 will become the standard. Analysts promise that in 2013 sales of mobile phones supporting this format will reach the mark of 1 billion.
A little more than a month has passed since Adobe officially announced the termination of support for the mobile version of Flash. This step, quite deliberate from the commercial side, caused not only a heated discussion, but also the need for a new assessment of the situation in the format market, where until recently there was a sluggish struggle between Flash and HTML5.
The first assessment of the situation was given by Strategy Analytics. According to her forecast, 1 billion HTML5-enabled phones will be sold in 2013. For comparison, in 2011, according to the same company, about 336 million similar gadgets were sold.
