Yesterday HTC sent out invitations to media representatives for a joint presentation with Verizon. The event will take place on November 13 in New York.
It is unknown what exactly the Taiwanese manufacturer plans to present. Analysts suggest that it may be a new Android–based smartphone – HTC J Butterfly (aka HTC DNA) with a Full HD screen or Windows Phone 8X, available exclusively to Verizon subscribers.
The second option would be more logical, since HTC is holding a presentation together with Verizon. But the first one would be more timely. HTC DNA does not yet have competitors in terms of characteristics in the American and European markets, and it could well impress investors disappointed with the company’s low revenues recently.
