At the PAX Australia in Melbourne, Halfbrick studio, known for games such as Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride, announced Colossatron: Massive World Threat.

The project is an unexpected reinterpretation of Triple Town, Zume and the ancient “Snake”.

The gameplay takes place approximately as follows: on the screen, a giant snake is destroying the city, the military is trying to destroy it. Periodically, there are components of the snake that need to be “inserted” into it.

The components – they are also guns – help to fight the snake more effectively with the military. Among themselves, the “trunks” differ in color. When composing three guns of the same color “in a row”, they merge into one more powerful gun.

The approach is very interesting. We are looking forward to the release, information about which is not yet available.
