The Japanese gaming giant will allow web application developers to publish projects on their own gaming platform.
The new feature will appear this November in the open beta of the platform. In addition, GREE plans to optimize its service for working in the browser and add PayPal support.
What is important, if we talk about HTML5: the Japanese are not only going to support projects on it, but also announced their plans to launch several of their own games as web applications.
“The emergence of new ways and new ways to develop Internet applications, such as HTML5, has made it possible to develop truly cross-platform applications compatible with many mobile operating systems,” GREE says.
