According to analysts from Gartner, in 2013 Lenovo will become the largest smartphone manufacturer in China.

As you know, this company recently displaced Hewlett Packard from the top position in the world ranking of PC vendors. At the same time, it also strives to gain the highest positions in the mobile sphere, in particular, in the local Chinese market.

This, for example, is evidenced by the fact that in China its market share in the smartphone segment increased from 1.7% (Q3 2011) to 14.8% (Q3 2012) over the year. Currently, it is ahead of Apple (6.9%), second only to Samsung. Other fairly well-known local companies, such as ZTE and Huawei, were left behind. In fact, Lenovo is the only player capable of competing with top global brands in the Chinese market.
