YoYo Games has announced the imminent release of a new version of its cross-platform game development toolkit – GameMaker: Studio, which will include advanced monetization tools, as well as support for analytical services.

Including AdColony, AdMob, Google Analytics, Google Play Licensing, iAds, MoPub and Supersonic Ads. 

Also, according to YoYo Games CEO Sandy Duncan, in the new version of the package, the team tried to remove all technical limitations so that developers could focus directly on the game and its monetization.

Recall that the price for the commercial version of GameMaker: Studio is low – only $ 99. This toolkit is based on the free version, which was first released in 1999 and has since been downloaded more than 10 million times. The community of game developers using it has more than half a million registered users.   

The multiplatform version of the mentioned engine was released in March of this year. 

The update is expected to be released in September.
