As part of the Tokyo Game Show, which ended recently, Gameloft announced the fourth part of Modern Combat – Zero Hour.
For three years, the cumulative sales of the title, which turned three years old in early September, amounted to 6.3 million copies (not downloads, namely sold digital versions). The MAU of only one third part at the moment is 1.5 million. Also, Modern Combat 3 became the first mobile game available for competitions on Major League Gaming.
So it was expected that Gameloft would continue to milk one of the most successful action titles on mobile platforms. But, unfortunately, the company did not provide specific details about the new product.
The teaser shown at the exhibition only slightly reveals the plot of the future game: a terrorist group kidnaps the American president from one of the Hawaiian islands. It is clear that the players will be engaged in his release.
The game will be released on iOS and Android this fall.
