Freeze Tag Studio has signed an agreement with Activision Mobile Publishing and Flurry to publish the mobile game Grimm Reaper: Hidden Tales.
The giant of the gaming industry, Activision, continues to methodically introduce itself into the mobile application market. This deal is her next step after the summer release of the Pitfall mobile runner and the publication of a whole series of projects under the Skylanders brand.
Another partner of Freeze Tag is Flurry, which will deal with issues related to monetization, so that developers will be able to pay more attention to the creative side of the game.
Grimm Reaper: Hidden Tales is a project that combines elements of builder and HOG, and the world of Grimm fairy tales is chosen as the setting. According to Freeze Tag CEO Craig Holland, players will be offered five different item search modes, and in the “construction” component, users will find a lot of different buildings, decorative items and other “buns” for fans of the genre. The game will work within the framework of the free-to-play model.
Freeze Tag is a small company that positions its products as “family-owned”. She usually works on games in the Hidden Objects genre. The company’s portfolio includes about a dozen and a half downloadable “casual games” for PC, most of which have already been ported to mobile platforms.
Concerning Grimm Reaper: Hidden Tales, then it will be released in the fourth quarter of this year.
