The other day, the publisher Square Enix released the next chapter of its cult series Final Fantasy IV for iOS. However, more attention of online media was attracted not so much by the fact of the release itself as by the trailer accompanying the launch of the project.
Its final frames contain the announcement of the mobile version of Final Fantasy V.
So far, there is no information about the release date of the fifth mobile “Finale”. But the mentioned trailer also talks about a certain mobile “Final Fantasy revolution”. Apparently, Square Enix will not stop at the fifth part of the series either. In other words, the case may reach the cult seventh part. Fans of the series have been waiting for her remake for about six to seven years, since the moment when Sony, demonstrating the technological power of the PS3, showed the Final Fantasy VII screensaver on one of the Japanese studio’s engines.
By the way, Square Enix still sets high (as for the mobile app store) prices. For Final Fantasy IV, they ask for $14.99.
