Square Enix has announced the release of the fourth part of Final Fantasy on iOS.
The DS port of the remake of the original Final Fantasy IV will be released on iOS by the Christmas holidays, December 20. The first screenshots are already available online.
The Android version is rumored to be released in the spring.
Recall that the plot of Final Fantasy IV revolves around the confrontation between the young knight Cecil and the insidious wizard Golbez, who, traditionally for the series, is an enchanted relative of the main character. The setting of the game resembles the world of Hayao Miyazaki’s animated film “The Heavenly Castle of Laputa” – a fusion of fantasy and paropunk.
The price for the game will be ¥1,800 or $22. For the previous Final Fantasy IP project, the Japanese from Square Enix asked for less (not counting, of course, Final Fantasy Dimensions): 329 rubles for Final Fantasy III and 579 rubles for Final Fantasy Tactics.
