Companies related to the field of mobile analytics and advertising have become more active in terms of working with major global brands. 

Thus, Distimo has announced a partnership with Adobe Systems. By joint efforts of both companies, a project will be implemented that allows integrating analytical data from Distimo into existing software of major publishers or brands. At the same time, data from Distimo will be automatically synchronized with the high-performance Adobe Analytics platform running in real time. Recall that Distimo tracks data on 10 app stores, including Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon Appstore, BlackBerry World and Windows Phone/Windows Store. 

Millennial Media, in turn, announced new features of its own service. Innovations are related to the use of rich media on tablets. They can potentially increase the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. Among the modular novelties:

  • The Look Book is essentially an advertising brochure in the form of a magazine with a cover and a large number of images; 
  • Transparent Overlay – animated advertising, behind which the main content is visible;
  • Auto Showcase – interactive advertising banner for car companies; 
  • Treasure Map is an advertisement that is larger in size than the screen of the device. The point is for the user to start interacting with it, apparently trying to close it;
  • Video Catalog is actually a catalog of videos in gallery format.

Millennial Media promises that its advertising modules will be flexible enough and various advertisers will be able to adapt them to their needs.
