RIM has announced the launch date of BlackBerry 10. Its new operating system will be unveiled on January 30, 2013.

The presentation of the platform will take place in several countries of the world at once, in which countries it is not known. The company expects that thanks to the “growing” ecosystem of applications (RIM is currently conducting campaigns to attract developers), users will be able to get maximum convenience when working with BlackBerry 10.

Also on January 30, RIM will introduce two new smartphones: one will have a touch screen, the second will receive a physical QWERTY keyboard, similar to devices from the Bold line. Now smartphones on BlackBerry 10 are in the testing stage.

With the help of new smartphones, the company hopes to attract both loyal owners of RIM devices and former users who switched to competitors’ devices (RIM includes the iPhone and Samsung Galaxy S3 among them), but would like to return to BlackBerry.
