The developers of Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition are going to release the iOS version of Shadows Of Amn, the second part of the cult role-playing game in the Dungeons& Dragons universe, by the end of summer 2013.

Overhaul Games, which adapts Bioware’s golden legacy to modern devices (the company has already released MDK2 HD for PC and Mac), even before the release and, of course, the news of the first sales results of the iPad version of Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition announced its plans to develop a sequel.

More precisely, this was done by Trent Oster, director of the studio, in his interview with Red Bull UK: “The current Baldur’s Gate is already finished, and most of the guys are ready to start developing the second part. A couple of employees, in turn, will support the current project, add various features, communicate with fans of the game. As for the second part, I hope we will be able to bring it to the market before the end of next summer.”

Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition, the release of which is scheduled for November 28, has been developed by employees of Overhaul Games for more than a year. The price of the game will be $9.99 on iOS and PC platforms.
