No miracle happened. Almost all the rumors about the new iPhone have come true. The photos that previously got into the Network turned out to be, as they say, real, as, indeed, numerous “leaks”.
So, at the presentation that just ended in San Francisco, Apple demonstrated the sixth-generation iPhone. He, as expected, stretched out in size. So now it has a 4-inch screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1136×640 pixels.
The device has become 18% thinner than the iPhone 4S, and 20% lighter. The back of the new device is made of aluminum. The gadget has a new loop (and, accordingly, a connector for it), which is 80% smaller than what has been used in the company’s smartphones and tablets since 2007.
That’s it with the outside of the question (don’t write separately about headphones, really).
As for the filling, judging by what was shown at the presentation, it has not changed so much. Except that the heart of the iPhone 5 beats A6, which, according to the company’s employees, is twice as powerful as A5. The gadget received a third microphone, support for LTE networks and, as expected, works on iOS 6.
We will analyze the presentation in more detail tomorrow, but for now here’s what I want to say: we were disappointed and, yes, “this would not have happened with Steve.”
