According to the latest report of analysts from comScore for the three-month period from October 2012 to January 2013, Apple continued to increase its market share in the American market.
Now it reaches 37.8%, which is 3.5% higher than three months ago.
The increase in the share of Samsung devices was not so noticeable – from 19.5% to 21.4%. HTC and Motorola retained the third and fourth positions, but the share of each of them decreased.
In the rating of platforms among subscribers over the age of 13, Android remains in first place with a share of 52.3%. At the same time, it should be noted that its decrease was recorded by 1.3% compared to the previous quarter. iOS added 3.5% to its share, which increased from 34.3% to 27.8%.
