The Head Hunter company timed the publication of interesting statistical data concerning the prospects and attractiveness of the programmer’s profession in the modern labor market to coincide with the Programmer’s Day, which is celebrated every 256th day of the year (including today, September 12).

It turned out that the share of IT specialists in the total number of vacancies from employers is 15%, of which half are requests for programmers and developers. It should be noted that in this area, the demand for qualified personnel still exceeds the supply: there are 0.8 resumes of applicants per vacancy. And finally, good news for the target audience of our resource: the highest paid categories of software developers are those that are directly related to mobile applications. Java programmers get, on average, 80,000 rubles, Android programmers earn the same amount, but those who code iOS applications get a little less – 72,000 rubles.
