The largest companies of the Far Eastern market DeNa and Nexon have announced the conclusion of a “global business alliance”, within which Nexon games will be distributed through the DeNA social and mobile platform both in Japan and in other countries.
Nexon’s main focus was previously MMO, but now it is aggressively introducing itself to the mobile games market, paying special attention to products operating on the free-to-play model. Recall that in October last year, the Koreans acquired the Japanese studio gloops, specializing in mobile games, for $ 470 million.
Establishing a partnership with DeNA was quite a logical step, since gloops already had a strong relationship with this company.
