The screen resolution of the iPhone 5 will be 640×1136 pixels.
A day after Apple released the new, already fourth, beta version of iOS 6, the 9to5mac resource, having tested the firmware, reported interesting facts about its capabilities, or rather about what experiments with resolution led to in it.
As you know, if you run the firmware in a standard resolution of 960×640, the usual 4 lines with icons are displayed on the screen. If the program is run in a different resolution, it usually displays the desktop incorrectly (stretches or compresses icons).
But if you set the resolution to 640×1136 in the latest beta of iOS 6, 9to5mac reports, then the entire interface automatically scales by arranging five lines with application icons.
So now we can safely say that the resolution of the next iPhone will be 640 x 1136 pixels.
