Venture capital companies Creandum and Lifeline Ventures have invested $2.9 million in the Finnish-Singaporean studio Nonstop Games, which develops hardcore games for mobile platforms.

According to Techcrunch, the team has an interesting background. Henric Suuronen, one of the founders of the studio, previously headed Wooga and Digital Chocolate Finland. As for Juha Paananen, Executive director of Nonstop Games, he had previously developed Nokia’s business in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, he is the brother of Ilkka Paananen, the head of Supercell.

Supercell is a good example,” Juha said. – “As soon as we overtake them in the chart, I will send my brother a postcard.”

Nonstop Games, formerly also known as GamesMadeMe, is an experimental studio. She previously worked on creating HTML5 games. However, it did not work out in this direction with the development. It turned out that the guys could not create a user-friendly project based on the existing tools. So the studio started developing a “native” game.

With the existing backgrounds, Nonstop Games plans to launch its first project this summer. It’s called Heroes of Honor. The first art style is very similar to the one from Clash of Clans. As for the details, the game will be, according to the developers, a hardcore strategy with three warring factions. In the game, users will be able to build cities, armies and attack rivals in real-time multiplayer battles between thousands of players.

There are no screenshots, so how it will look and play is completely unclear. Yes, Finns settled in Singapore for a reason.

According to Paanen, Asia was a pioneer in the field of free-2-play. Namely, Nonstop Games is already working in this direction. In addition, Finnish developers plan to look for employees here.
