It should be noted that Hooked on Words was released in the App Store in 2012, and in Google Play in 2016. To date, it has collected 3 million downloads and $2 million dollars in advertising revenue.

“This is one of our most successful investments over the past year,” Dima Morozov, founder and CEO of Green Grey, commented on the deal. – “The market niche that Megu Games occupies is very interesting and currently not too crowded.”

Megu Games is located in Englewood, Florida. Her team includes former employees of Disney, Warner Brothers, Microsoft, Apple and AdColony. Among the company’s most famous projects are Hooked on Words, Solitaire Go: Kingdom Quest and Solitaire Puzzle Quest.

For Green Grey, the investment in Megu Games has already become the fifth public one in a year. Three weeks ago, the company supported the Pocket Size Games studio by investing $2 million in it. Prior to that, she invested in Infusion Games, Developers Unknown and NPU Games.
