Zynga has bought the Rising Tide Games game studio, co-founded by Maytal Olsha. In the past, she served as the head of the social slots department at Zynga.
“We welcome the incredibly gifted Rising Tide Games team to Zynga and at the same time continue to increase our selection of games in the social casino genre,” commented Zynga CEO Mark Pincus.
The startup of a former Zynga employee specializes in social casinos. Olsha, as well as Stuart Zoble, Andrew Sega and Peter Franco founded it in October 2014. From that moment on, the studio managed to launch the game on iOS and Android. The title is called Black Diamond Slots and is in the top 30 in the “Casino” category of the American App Store.

Let’s add that Olsha left Zynga in September last year in the wake of the company’s layoffs and new appointments.
