Women spend more time watching game videos than men, – says Gautam Ramdurai, the official blogger of Google, in his blog.

In addition, women over 25 are the fastest growing audience of gaming videos.

Such statistics do not stand out from the general industry: women love games no less than men – mobile, console and PC. According to a study conducted by ESA in April last year, the number of women over 25 among gamers is almost equal to the number of men of the same age: 48% vs. 52%.

Interestingly, among the younger audience, the power ratio is quite different: women from 18 play games more than their male peers.

Thus, according to ESA, it is no longer necessary to talk about a “typical gamer” – stereotypical thinking in the industry is outdated.
