The Internet corporation acquires BrightRoll for $640 million in cash, – such information appeared today on the official website of BrightRoll. 

BrightRoll sells video advertising and develops software for it. According to the terms of the deal, the Internet corporation will provide the platform’s customers with access to Yahoo’s unique audience data. In turn, BrightRoll will offer the company tools that allow you to create video ads on PCs, mobile devices and TV.

 

It is assumed that as a result of the transaction, the companies will create “the largest video advertising ecosystem.” 

“For Yahoo, video is one of the key areas of development, and BrightRoll is an excellent strategic partner in the field of video advertising,” said Marissa Mayer, CEO of Yahoo.”
