The screenwriter of Neverwinter Nights and Dragon Age, David Gaider, became the co-founder of Summerfall Studio. It is located in Australia and is almost ready to present the first project.
Summerfall Co-founders David Geider and Liam Esler
According to a former BioWare writer on Twitter, Summerfall has been in Melbourne for the second year.
Its second co-founder was Liam Esler, a native of Beamdog (where Geider also worked). The management decided to tell about the studio only now.
Summerfall announces its first game on October 11 at PAX Australia. On the same day, she will launch a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter. Only one thing is known about the project so far: it is a plot-oriented project with deep characters. Summerfall has such games in priority.

By the way, Heider has a lot of experience in this field.
During his 17 years at BioWare, he created ENT and plots for Baldur’s Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and the Dragon Age series. Based on the latter, he wrote three novels and three comics.
At BioWare, Geider was a leading screenwriter and one of the most famous figures. He left the studio in 2016. He did not report the reasons for his departure. But recently it became known that a year before his dismissal, he did not get along with the Anthem development team, which rejected his script.

After BioWare, Geider moved to Beamdog and worked there until February 2018.
And then he said that “it’s time to move on.” In the same year, Summerfall was created.
