Recruiting company VALUES VALUE conducted a survey among game developers from the CIS and found out that compared to 2017, women began to receive less, and men’s salaries remained approximately at the same level.
According to the study, the negative dynamics in relation to salaries of female specialists is especially noticeable in the Ukrainian and Russian markets (excluding Moscow). In Belarus, salaries of both sexes have sunk, but in Moscow, on the contrary, there is a noticeable slight improvement in career opportunities and compensation for women.

If we talk about professions, then smaller compensations, compared to the previous year, were declared by Community & Support specialists, Business Development managers and programmers.
Salaries of top management have also decreased, but this indicator may be due to the unstructured CIS game development market.
