The creators of Unity have introduced a new platform — Unity Live Help. Within its framework, industry experts will be able to train game developers.

Unity Live Help is designed to find teachers in any specialty related to Unity: programming, art, design, etc. Individual classes are held right on the platform. To do this, it has the following functions:

  • video chat and text chat (all recordings will be saved after the lesson);
  • sharing files and screen screenshots;
  • a visual editor for co-writing code in real time.

The platform can be used not only to improve skills, but also to find solutions to problems related to development. Unity Live Help will search for a specialist on request, where you need to specify keywords (for example, “Android”, “animation”, “level design”, “assets”, etc.). You also need to set the desired tuition fee.

Unity Live Help is a paid service, but all classes are preceded by a free 5—minute period. During this time, the student will be able to assess the competence of the teacher and decide whether to continue the lesson.

So far, the site is in beta testing.

Let’s add that Unity Technologies has recently launched another learning platform — Unity Learn Premium. It allows you to improve your 3D development skills in real time.
