The Moscow City Telephone Network has determined the preferences of Moscow online players and compiled the top 10 games that have accounted for the most traffic over the past six months.
Fortnite Battle Royale generated the most traffic, it took first place in the top, where DOTA 2 was previously located. War Thunder, the development of the Russian Gaijin Entertainment, and Fortnite’s main competitor, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, stopped at the third.
It is worth noting that although royal battles occupy the first and third places in the top, this genre accounts for only 10% of game traffic. The most popular genre among Muscovites is shooter (about 40%), followed by MOBA (20%).
According to MGTS, mobile games account for only 20% of all gaming traffic in Moscow. The main share, 55%, falls on desktop versions of games and 25% on consoles.
