This Saturday, April 4 at 19:30, the ZeptoLab Code Rush 2015 Sports Programming Championship starts.
The championship is held jointly with the Codeforces resource. This is the second event of this kind – the first took place last year. The contest will be held in one round and according to Codeforces’ own rules.
Registration for the championship opened today and will last almost until the start of the competition. You can apply for participation here.
Following the results of the competition, participants will receive prizes and will be able to try to get a job at Zeptolab “according to a simplified scheme” (for this, you need to check the appropriate box when registering).
We received a comment from Viktor Korsun, Head of Customer Development at ZeptoLab.
Victor Korsun”Education is our priority.
This applies both to employee training and to the qualitative improvement of the Russian IT industry as a whole (for example, we participated in the All-Russian IT campaign Hour of Code). The programming championship provides an opportunity to find talented programmers who know algorithms perfectly and are fast learners who can quickly find errors in the code, and even better – not to allow them.”
When asked why Zeptolab chose Codeforces as a partner, Victor replied that the company had friendly relations with the resource.
He noted that “the championship is another reason to remind the community that we, like Codeforces, are in Russia.”
ZeptoLab Code Rush has inspired other companies as well. There is information that Mail.ru he is going to hold a similar event.
