After allegations of harassment, Chris Avellone was suspended from working on several projects, including Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. Now one of the girls who denounced the famous game designer has become the leading narrative designer of the game.Samantha Wallschlaeger, who previously worked at Monolith and Bioware studios, announced her appointment on her personal Twitter.

“Now I’m just going to help my new team with everything I can. But I am looking forward to what we can do in the future, and I am very happy to work with these wonderful guys,” wrote Walschleger.

Samantha’s portfolio includes work on projects such as Star Wars: The Old Republic, Mass Effect: Andromeda and Guild Wars 2.

The scandal with Avellon happened in June. Then several women accused him of harassment and indecent behavior. Among them was Walschleger, who eventually deleted her tweet. She said that because of Chris, she almost left the gaming industry.

Recently, scandals have been increasingly arising around Bloodlines 2. In July, creative director Kai Cluney and game designer Brian Mitsoda, who was responsible for the script of the first part, were dismissed without explanation.

This year, Hardsuit Labs, which is responsible for the development of the game, also left the main producer of the game Christian Schlutter (Christian Schlutter) and the lead narrative designer Kara Ellison (Cara Ellison). Walschleger will take the place of the latter.

The release of Bloodlines 2 is scheduled for next year, but after numerous permutations and postponements, it is not known what state the game is in.
