MY.GAMES decided to strengthen its position in the western market. The company has made Philippe Sauze, former vice president of Activision Blizzard, the head of its Amsterdam office.

According to the statement of the Russian gaming giant, the attraction of Pops is part of the strategy for building the European business of MY.GAMES.
Earlier, as part of the same strategy, the company invested in Barcelona’s The Breach Studios.
The new top manager will be engaged in:
- the development of the publishing direction of MY.GAMES in Amsterdam;
- brand promotion in Europe and other international markets;
- building an international brand strategy and links with the international game development community.
Given the growing revenue of MY.GAMES from Western markets — in the first half of the year, the share increased to 78.6% — this is a very timely step.
Soz has been working in the gaming industry for 26 years. However, he started his career at Pernod Ricard Group, a French alcohol company, from the position of sales manager.
Soz started playing video games in 1995 when he joined Electronic Arts. He first became the sales director of the French branch, and then rose to vice president of the company throughout Southern Europe. Soz spent 15 years at the publishing house, simultaneously serving as president of the Syndicate of the French Video Game Industry (SELL) for two years (from 2006 to 2008). He got into Activision Blizzard in March 2018 and, according to his LinkedIn profile, was listed there until today.
I am happy to join the MY.GAMES team as the head of the European direction. MY.GAMES invited me to join the company, first of all, to develop the European direction and strengthen the international position of the brand. The company's office, which is located in Amsterdam, is already closing a number of tasks related to publishing, localization and operation of games — and it will be a great honor for me to strengthen these areas. I am sure that my knowledge and experience will be useful to the company and together we will be able to make the MY.GAMES brand even more recognizable in the international arena.
